Monica Lewinsky has lived a dramatic life. She gained popularity when she worked as an intern in the White House and was involved in an inappropriate relationship with former President Bill Clinton. The affair gained her the spotlight and later on became a television personality. After gaining public attention, she busied herself by selling a line of handbags under the company name The Real Monica, Inc.

She then took a break from the entertainment industry to pursue a master’s degree in psychology in London. She is now working as a social activist for cyberbullying and recently gave a speech on TED Talk. Lewinsky said she was “the first person to completely destroy reputation worldwide through the Internet”. She co authored with writer Andrew Morton to publish the book “Monica’s story” in 1999, and her advance was reported to be $500000.
